Frank Sinatra - Falling In Love with Love (Sinatra Swings)
Writer(s): Rodgers/Hart
I weave with brightly colored strings
To keep my mind off other things
So, ladies, let your fingers dance
And keep your hands out of romance
Lovely witches
Let the stitches
Keep your fingers under control
Cut the thread, but leave
The whole heart whole
Merrry maids can sew and sleep
Wives can only sew and weep
Falling in love with love
Is falling for make-believe
Falling in love with love
Is playing the fool
Caring too much is juvenile fancy
Learning to trust is just
For children in school
I fell in love with love one night
When the mood was full
I was unwise with eyes
Unable to see
I fell in love with love
With love everlasting
But love fell out with me
Falling in Love With Love (remixed) (02:32)
Ever since I was quite small, I have always loved this song. When I finally managed to get my hands
on the music, I had not one version, but two-- from two of my favorite singers, Julie Andrews and
Frank Sinatra. I thought it would be awesome to piece them together and make a kind of duet out of
it. It's a bit rough in the middle, but I think it turned out fairly well anyway. Enjoy!!
Harry, I love you, we all love you, BUT, you can't remake a Carpenter's song.....no one can do that.....sorry buddy...

You can't make a woman, such as Caren Carpenter, sound like a man without some serious gender modification surgeries. This is a man version, of a Burt Bacharach and Hal David song.
